2007  Jag Fest in Clearwater, FL

On Saturday, October 27^th, 2007, I had the pleasure of attending the 2007 Dan Ligas Memorial Concours, held by the Suncoast Jaguar Club at the Belleview Biltmore Hotel in Clearwater, Florida.   I entered my 1965 E-Type OTS.

The drizzly morning welcomed 32 beautiful Jaguars to the hotel's west verandah. The E-Types were the largest contingent, and there were also many XK8's, a Mark II, an XK150 DHC. By noon the weather cleared and the judging began. My 'E won second place in the Champion Division with a score of 99.01 points. Not bad for my Jag's first concours! First place in the Champion Division went to fellow 'Ramblin Wreck' Dick Maury of Atlanta with his beautiful 1963 OTS with a score of 99.96.
