After having to cancel the 2022 event due to Hurricane Ian, we were very happy to have 54 BCCSWF members and their guests gather at Franklin Locks Park in Alva, Florida! Our club has previously enjoyed picnics at the park and it was a great opportunity to return on October 28, 2023.
The weather was spectacular and the picnic shelter provided welcome shade. John and Chris Baum, along with Tom Shaw, did a terrific job planning and executing the gathering with Bratwursts, hot dogs, and the trimmings provided by the club and a potluck table full of sides and desserts brought by members. It was the perfect day for a drive so we had a parking lot full of little British cars.
