The Fiat Club of South Florida held its first car show at Iron City Rods & Custom on October 21, 2023. The show was open to all makes and models. While there was a large contingent of old and new Fiats, the BCCSWF was well-represented with 5 British cars. This included a Triumph (Dennis McKinley), a TVR (Gary Blessing), a Bentley (Hermann Schaller), and a Sunbeam Alpine (Robert Trier). Notably, member Kirk Pierce took second place in the show with his newly acquired 1957 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller. The overall win went to a Pontiac GTO Judge and the third place to an original 1973 Fiat 500R. Both cars are invited to our Concours in January. It was fun to interact with the other car owners, especially the young Fiat drivers!

We had an opportunity to tour the restoration and repair shop at Iron City Rods & Custom at the end of the day. They are well-equipped for significant restorations including bodywork and painting, as well as basic mechanical repairs. They often have classic car work referred to them by other local shops.
